The Ohio Good Standing Certificate (Also referred to as the Ohio Certificate of Status or Ohio Certificate of Existence) is an official document issued by the Ohio Secretary of State that certifies that the legal entity is registered with the State of Ohio and is compliance with all state required formalities.

Upon application to the Office of the Ohio Secretary of State a Certificate of Good Standing will be granted to any domestic or foreign profit and nonprofit corporation that was duly registered or formed within the State of Ohio.
