The Pennsylvania Good Standing Certificate (Also referred to as the Pennsylvania Certificate of Subsistence or Pennsylvania Certificate of Status) is an official document issued by the Secretary of Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The State issues a "PA Certificate of Good Standing" Certificate that states the entity is duly incorporated and that the business remains a subsisting entity with the Secretary of Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and is in compliance with all state required formalities.
Upon application to the Secretary of Commonwealth a Pennsylvania Certificate of Good Standing will be granted to any domestic or foreign profit and nonprofit corporation, limited liability company that was duly formed or registered within the State of Pennsylvania and is in good standing.
Requirements to be eligible for a Certificate of Good Standing: • Your entity must be registered within your State as a Corporation, LLC or LLP
• You must have filed all annual reporting as required by your State
• Your entity must have paid all State mandated fees and taxes in a timely fashion
